Hi All,

I've been meaning to do this for years, but i'm finally taking the plunge into Alfa ownership.
I'm looking to buy a Brera, very soon, either 3.2 or 2.2 not sure yet, and have a few questions which i hope other members wouldn't mind answering for me.
Like I say I'm new to Alfa's and want to make sure i get the right one for myself.
I have owned a lot of old Italian scooters over the years and loved them, even when they've been less than reliable, and am hoping that an Alfa can do the same thing as most other Italian motor vehicles do, and put a smile on your face, the size of a Chesire cat.

Hello Chris, welcome to the forum, there was a short article a few weeks ago on the current model forum about buying a Brera, and what good value for money they are, the were a $95,000 when released, the new models, while not quite up to a Japanese car in build quality and reliability, are getting pretty good, as these days if you make a unreliable car, then you go broke, as there are many good cars out there, if you have a look on the forum, most of the break down and reliability discussions are about the older models, no one much talks about the new models breaking down, which means they don't often 'fail to proceed', or the new owners are a bit shy, when you find a good one, take it to an Alfa Romeo Dealer or Specialist and get them to do a pre purchase check to see what has or hasn't been done, best of luck and welcome, Colin.
