potential 1986 GTV6 for sale - Perth

yes, i can hear all the comments now... Ed is doing it again!

i am considering selling my current Alfa, a silver 1986 GTV6.

I'd love to keep it and rejuvenate it, but i cannot money or time wise and i need to replace it with a boring small 4 door auto.

- 3rd owner since new (previous owner for 22 of its 26 years).
- Full service history for last 24 years.
- Garaged for at least the last 24 years.
- New brake rotors, braided lines front and rear JAN 2012.
- Fitted with Ronal A1 rims (no, i will not sell these without the car going first) but with old tyres
- Original alloys and near new Pirelli's available.

Currently requires new battery (no biggy) and the headlight stalk to be repaired, replaced (broken in 'on' position).  That would cost around $180 to source a replacement plus fitting.

I intend to deal with both these minor issues in JAN 2013 and before the car is sold.

- Paint good, body straight and very good but with some rust (all 4 x lower sill corners, right rear wheel arch, some bubbling around glass in rear hatch).  Some paint chipping along the front grill area / bonnet leading edge that show surface rust. Otherwise, no more than typical for its age.  photos available on request.
- Great all original interior (Stig Blomqvist sports steering wheel fitted, original wheel available)
- Motor excellent and very strong.
- Very original other than Ronal's and K&N air filter.
- currently WA licensed until FEB 2014
- AR 1986 rego plate included if sold in WA only.

Drives perfectly well now with plenty of potential and a cheap buy.
