Hi everyone,

Impulse bought this 2.2 159 for a steal a few months ago and I'm completely in love with it.

It comes with a body kit and twin exhaust I have yet to see anywhere else and the previous owner claimed there were only 2 in the country.

Its been flawless and I will admit I drive it pretty hard. It's a little sluggish on take-off but handles like a dream and has enough power to have fun in.

The Selespeed has been interesting getting used to and its just started playing up but the car just looks stunning and I'll forgive it any gremlins for the pure joy it brings to climb into it every morning.

Anyway just wanted to say the site has been invaluable for information as a new Alfa owner and thanks!  ;)

Welcome.

Hope to see you car around on the next run if you want to take it for a bit of a drive with like minded enthusiasts.

Re selespeed playing up, I heard that 50/50 issues with modern selespeeds relate to battery issues so when you take it to your local alfa specialist (Maranello Pursang), hopefully it will be diagnosed with this cheap fix.

Without enough power avaiable, the selespeed falters and then this leads to real also actuator and gearing issues that cost $$$$.

Cheers
