"The Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese will before the start of the Expo 2015 in Milan opened after several years of closure, the gates again. Last summer we could already report that a reopening in the air and that this happy event is linked to the international expo and the major progressive relaunch of the brand. related None other than the President of the Lombardy Region Roberto Maroni (second from left photo below), this would have confirmed the receipt of times last week the Fiat 500L for Expo 2015 ."

Having visited the museo a year and half ago, can highly recommend it and very happy that it is re-opening, on my visit it did look a bit in limbo, so hopefully they will brighten things up a bit and thank god they did not sell any of the exhibits as it was rumored that Marchione after xtra $$$ was going to do the unthinkable and sell it to some wealthy yank car collectors, these car's belong to the people as they are part of world motoring History and Italian heritage and are there to admired by the Alfisti of the world and who ever else apreciates  these special examples.

I wonder what the eight cars are that FIAT wanted to sell?

Looks like we're set for a European summer holiday in 2015, who wants to come ... Let's ship some cars and do the Mille Miglia (shadow) too

Many things can happen in Italian politics between now an then, I'll believe it when it's fully  operational

I just got a LinkedIn in message linking through to a petition to get it Reopened.

All in Italian unfortunately, but it would seem to suggest it may not go ahead.

I received an article from QUATTRORUOTE WHICH MENTIONS THE RE-OPENING to coincide with the MILAN world expo next year, work should commence in October on remodernising the Museo, but if politicians are involved, anything is possible.
