Summary:

- 3 wheels re-rolled
- 1 wheel rolled and re-aligned front the front to match the rim.

They did comment that they did a lot of Alfa work due to the nature of the metal vs Australian roads vis. potholes and that the wheel realigned was probably due to hitting a gutter (front passenger side) and to be expected.

Cost $95 wheel plus GST all up $415.

Worth it ?  I thinks so, driving back home noticed the difference. Note that the ride is a lot smoother and now only feel the chassis shake over rough suburban road surfaces.

That sure sounds a lot better than $180 a corner! When I eventually get mine done, I will give yo an update on the relative cost differential on the West Coast.

Neway is run by 2 brothers, and they always seem to have a lot of work, never notice a slightly bucked rim driving around on the burbs, but hit the freeway and it blurrs your vision, John did they do the wheel alignment there, or did you take your Spider somewhere else?, for wheel alignments done on a static aligner, a buckled rim can throw out the alignment measurment, Colin.

Crickey Colin, no I did not ask them to do a wheel alignment as this was done a few months ago at Bob Jane and did not think of it.

At the time the finding was that it was a bit out but will check with Maranello at next Service as this aspect will be work in progress.
