Dear members,

It is with a heavy heart and tear-filled eyes that I write to inform you that fellow AROCA Qld member Colin Wenzel was yesterday seriously injured in an accident during round one of the Italian Challenge Race Series at Lakeside.

Col was involved in a single car accident at the top of Lakeside's Eastern Loop during our final race of the day. He is currently in intensive care at the Royal Brisbane Hospital but his injuries are life threatening.

Please send your thoughts and prayers Col's way over the next 24 hours.

I am in regular contact with Colin's family and will let you know as soon as there is further news. Apologies for taking a full day to let you know but we had to make sure that all of Col's family had first been informed.
