If you'd like to know details of manufacture for your car, send an email to the following email address:

    centrodocumentazione@alfaromeo.com

A nice chap called Marco Fazio who works for Alfa Romeo will send you whatever details of manufacture they have on file.

Example response:

QuoteDear Mister Bottcher,

with reference to your request we are informing you as follows.

According to our documentation files, the chassis number ZAR 116A0003005178 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8 RHD, manufactured on the 5th August 1981 and sold on the 5th October 1981 in Australia.
The body colour is metallic light grey.

Yours, Sincerely,

          Marco Fazio

That one video has done more to underline that there is indeed some passion left in the old firm than all the advertising I've seen over the last 20 years.

A recent update, having enquired 4 weeks ago.
As an initial step, for 30 Euro you can obtain confirmation of manufacture date, colour, market of original delivery and confirmation of chassis/engine number match via an email.
To obtain the Certificato Di Origine is 70 Euro.
They were quick to respond (although some delays due to COVID 19) and very helpful.

What does the Certificato Di Origine look like?

Is it one for a frame to hang in the garage?  8)
The only problem with the GTV6? They forgot to install the flux capacitor...

As the day goes

I enquired weeks ago.  Only got one response.  They never came back with pricing.

Is is worth it?  Not IMHO
