Hi does anyone know of a mechanic in either the Gold Coast or Byron Bay? My daughter has a 147 Twin Spark 2004 and the mechanic the car was towed to in Byron thinks it's the timing belt. If anyone knows someone that can take a look please let me know. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Mick,

Apologies that nobody from the Coast has replied to this thread. We have several club members living on the Gold Coast but your best starting point will be AROCA Qld member and keen club racer Paul Young. Paul owns Sunshine Auto Electrical at Tweed Heads and has a wealth of industry contacts on the coast. Try him on his business mobile 0411 592 175.

We also have members Alan Broadhurst and John Coleman living in Byron if you need a specific contact there - but try Youngie first.

Cheers,

Brent

Yep, pretty old thread, but I'm only new to the site  ;D

Haven't used them myself, but I was picking up some gear from the Alfa parts warehouse in Southport this week and noticed this place directly opposite.

3C Anne St, Southport.  Haven't used them myself, but they claim to be 'European Car Specialists' so might be worth a look.

Having said that, +1 for Revolution - I've heard some good things about them.
