Well I didn't want to give the whole story away but I see I have no choice.

The power plant consists of two mice inside a waterwheel with a tempting block of cheese. The cheese is screened from view of the mice by a small roller blind (no, no, these aren't two blind mice).

The position of the blind is controlled by the accelerator pedal.
