Italian Challenge Round 2

The Italian Challenge Race Series is on again tomorrow at Lakeside Raceway, Lakeside Road, Kurwongbah. The motor racing gods have conspired against us this month, narrowing the field of racers to a mere 7 cars. They are, however, 7 cars that are going to be fantastic to watch.

Leading the charge will be round one winner Joel O'Farrell in his mighty Alfetta GTV, along with Mark Jackson in an Alfetta GTV, John Coleman in the 3 litre 75 and Mel Cason in his GTV 2000. Charlie Clements and Len Watson will fly the Ferrari flag in their 365 GTBs and Richard Shinkfield will provide the wild card in his turbo-charged Fiat X19. If the little Fiat is on song it could leave all comers in its wake!

Entry to Lakeside is only $10 per person, with children under 12 free.

Round 3 of the series happens at Lakeside on May 5 and fingers crossed we'll have a full field, with at least 7 more cars due back from repairs, engine rebuilds etc.
