Awards Night May 8th at May Club night

For all the Alfa Members and competitiors, your Alfa night of nights will be on 8th May at our May Club night, starting 8pm.

Venue is The Rising Sun Hotel, 2 Raglan St, South Melbourne.

The 2012 Competition and Club awards presentation night.

If in 2012, you competed in any of the competition events, written an article, attended EMR's or social events or club nights, helped at an event, taken a photo of an Alfa, or anything to do with the club, points are tellied and members with the most accumulated points win an award in any one of the categories.

Up for grabs are:

Perpetual Trophy (Club member participating in most Alfa events)
Bob Gardiner Trophy (Best Driver in Racing class)
Terry Potter Trophy (Best Driver in non-Racing class)
Alex Mildren Trophy (Best Driver in Historic Racing category Group S or N)
Junior Competition Trophy
Clubman Award
Most supportive Business or Organization
Best Magazine Article

Competition Trophies in Standard, Modified and Racing Alfa classes in various engine capacities, along with Associate class.

NOT presented on the night is the inaugural Tony Hawker Trophy (first Alfa team in the 6 hr relay) leading team being Maschi Di Alfa (Team Manager Gary Pearce, Team Helper Phil Nash, Drivers Phil Baskett, John Floyd, Evan Bottcher and Neil Choi)

There are other awards which I have forgotten but if you come on the night you could win one and share the accolades and Alfisti-ism with your fellow Alfisti's.

See you all there and you could be surprised and walk away with some silverware.

Just a reminder for all members to attend May club night to share the accolades.  There will also be food and drink available.  Come along and have a drink with your fellow members and see who won what awards.

It will be a great night.  Eugene Arocca (CEO of CAMS) will be guest speaker.
