FS - GTA Parts - ex Mostro's/Abyss' 156 GTA - only 40,000km!

Hi All,

As some of you know, I recently bought the wrecked red 156 GTA with 40,000kms on it which was which recently advertised here. I'll be taking some of the items for myself, but the rest will be for sale. Some parts from my car will be for sale as well.

If potential buyers can move quickly, they can see the parts below installed and working. Once I start breaking the car, the opportunity to see items in action diminishes - I'll try and take videos.

Here is what is available now:

3.2 V6 Engine - SOLD

Still for sale: Alternator, centre and rear exhaust

ECU, Body computer, immobilser and door locks, wiring, fully matched with 2 keys $1,500 separately
(or can negotiate inclusion with engine above)

Radiator/fans/hoses/thermostat/expansion tank - $500
Good working condition - can be seen operating

Gearbox with standard diff - $1600
This is the gearbox out of my Black GTA with 130,000km on it (1 owner until I bought it in January with Full Service History from Brisbane Alfa Romeo). Gearbox is in good working condition, synchros are fine and shift action good. You can drive my car to experience the gearbox if you like

Quaife LSD - SOLD

Suspension - Coilovers - SOLD
The red GTA has KW V2s with 15,000km on them (I understand they are pretty gentle kms as well).

Front 330mm Brakes - SOLD

-330mm Callipers
-Drilled discs
-Ferodo DS2500 pads
-Braided brake lines

Brakes - 305mm Front callipers for sale - $300
From my black GTA, available once I add the new 330mm brakes

Rear Brakes:
Standard Callipers, discs and pads - $300

Interior
-I plan to fit the Red GTA seats and door cards to my car, but this means I will have the interior from my black GTA available, including door cards and pillar sections. Some wear to drivers seat but the rest is very good - $700 (photos to come)
-1 dashboard without centre console or steering wheel. Can include speedo and tacho and warning lights. airbag didn't go off in accident (side impact). Price negotiable
-Some other random trim parts will be available

Exterior (price negotiable, especially if you remove it yourself!)
-Sunroof with power switches and headlining - to fit this to any other 156, you can remove the front and rear screens, undo the roof welds, and swap roofs. Not even that difficult apparently...
-1 undamaged red drivers door, 2 red back doors with some minor dents
-1 bonnet - several scrapes on top but bonnet and struts basically good
-1 boot lid, excellent condition minus badge and lights, with struts

Ancilliaries
- Window regulators and motors
- Steering rack
- Anything left over is for sale by negotiation

Hi All,

Final Bump on this.

The current state of the car is the engine, gearbox, cooling system, power steering pump, starter motor, manifolds have been removed. Of these items, all but the cooling system have been sold

The car will be at Maranello Motors tomorrow probably til Friday. Anything not removed by then goes to the wreckers.

I currently have interest in the following items:

-Radiator
-Gearbox and Q2
-Inner Wheelarches
-Subwoofer wiring loom
-Uprights
-Rear parcel shelf, bumpers, side panels, boot floor (the wooden thing that goes above spare wheel)

Already gone are:
-Interior (but I have 2 others!)
-Head and Tail Lights
-156 GTA Spare Wheel kit including space saver wheel, jack, etc.
-Wheels/tyres
-Front brakes
-Coilovers
-The engine stuff mentioned above

Still available:

-Red body colour mirrors - perfect condition
-Alternator
-External trim items
-CPU, keyed locks and keys
-Oil cooler
-Sunroof (you'd buy the whole roof and whip it off with a grinder)
-Doors, boot, bonnet (various conditions)
-Interior carpet
-Steering rack
-Instrument binnacle and the whole dashboard
-Steering wheel (good condition but missing centre section and airbag)
