Rebuilding a clutch slave

Hey all,
My slave is leaking in my 90, again so I think either I need a new one or a rebuild on one, what is the recommendations.

Hi denhe,
if this is a regular occurrence either try brand new or a stainless steel sleeve and a rebuild kit, most local brake shops can do it for you.

I would rebuild an original Alfa slave if you have one.  And get it stainless sleeved if the bore looks suspect.

I wouldn't buy new hydraulic cylinders if I could avoid it. I had a bad experience a while back with a new clutch master that popped the circlip and let the piston all the way out. The groove wasn't machined deep enough.  When I pulled it apart the piston seal had a small chunk out of it which was probably from a hole that hadn't been de-burred well enough. Not to say that all replacement parts will be that bad but I'm sure generally speaking the original Alfa parts are better quality.
