Hi all
I have something that is a bit different.
1967 mgb roadster that now has 2lt Alfa engine with a 105 gear box .
Now doing research on what rear end to use . I need some thing that is 1320mm wide . Can anyone tell me how wide  the 105 diff .
Thank you

Welcome! That is a very interesting project.  It has crossed my mind several times that an MGB with an Alfa twin cam would be a very nice thing. Both the roadsters and the GTs are very pretty cars.

Could you post some photos of it? How does it fit? The Alfa 4 would be a lot wider across the head but maybe no taller than the B-series?

Sorry I can't comment on the axle.

I'm surprised the Alfa engine actually fits in the engine bay of the B.  They are rather wide with the carbs fitted.

Welcome and what an interesting blend. The MGB is a great little car. I have one that has had some work and it is a very satisfying roadster to drive. I know someone who has most successfully shoe horned a Supercharged Holden V6 into a B !
Sorry I can't actually help with your question. But I lookforward to seeing a few pics.
