Wanted - 156 V6 Auto

So I'm helping someone look for a second car who doesn't want to spend too much on an initial outlay.

Preference is to be an auto, bigger (and prettier) than a corolla, and reliable.

I'm thinking the 156 2.5 V6, stationwagon (if any are around??)

Does anyone have any info regarding:

1) any known issues
2) approximate running costs per year
3) availability (do any of you have one to sell?)

Obviously one cared for by an alfisti is preferable, as they'd have better guarantees of not buying a lemon.
