Joining the Alfa Romeo Owners Club Vic Division

This forum now has 150+ members, and there are some good discussions going on.  I consider this forum to be a service that AROCA Vic provides to the wider Alfa Romeo community - whether you be an AROCA member or not, or even if you aren't in Australia!  If you are contributing to a discussion on this forum then you are providing benefit to our members and to the Alfa community in general.  This is why the forum is not private to AROCA members - please feel free to use the forum to help us form a community - encourage your non-AROCA friends to join and speak up as well.  The more the merrier.

However (always there is a however) the club and the committee does have an agenda to increase membership in general - if we introduce new members particularly younger members and those buying newer cars then the club will flourish.  The club will continue to be relevant to people who love their Alfa Romeo - and will hopefully do a better job of providing information, and holding social and motorsport activities that the membership really wants.  If we don't have new members joining and influencing the club then the club will stagnate and die.  Also I'll be stuck on the committee forever.  Don't let this happen.

SO - if you are not a member of AROCA and you live in Victoria (or Tasmania!) and you are enjoying participating in this forum or have learnt something useful, PLEASE consider joining the club.  Every quarter you will receive a bumper color magazine full of information about Alfa Romeo history, technical articles, social events, motorsports.  Every month that the magazine is not sent you will receive a newsletter keeping you up to date on the club activities.    You can attend many great social events and runs each year, or get involved in motorsport if that's your thing.  If you want to get involved hands-on there's lots of experience in the club to help you organise a club run or a picnic or anything you want.  If you need technical advice, or want to get in touch with a reputable repairer you can trust, the club can help you.  If you want to run your classic Alfa on "CH-plates" to save on registration then the club can arrange this as well.  These are just some of the benefits, so please consider it.
