I've been  pretty busy rebuilding the car after last years Targa High Country effert, with broken gearboxes and broken pistons there's been a fair bit to do!  I'm still waiting on a couple of bits to finish the engine so I've turned my attention to a few more mods.
I've been looking at the weight of the vehicle and am slowly going through the various areas.  The rear braking setup with the heavy calipers and complicated handbrake system has always been a problem.  The rules state I need a handbrake so if I'm going to carry one around I might as well be able to use it. With this in mind I've got a set of small Wilwood hydraulic Spot Calipers to add as handbrake calipers, but I'll post some photo's of that side of things when I've got the new backing plates made up to hold them.  For now I've added the required master cylinder and linkage.  I didn't want the Master cylinder in the cabin so I've managed to fit it under the vehicle  inside the gearbox mount, bit of mucking around to get the actuating rod to pass through everything along the tunnel, but it's all ended up pretty neat and well out of the way of everything else.
