Hi All ... Alfa nut from way back

Hi all...
I've been an Alfa nut from way back, even since my dad brought home a '68 GTV 1600
I got a '72 Alfasud as soon as I turned 18...after breaking about a dozen drive shafts I moved onto a '76 GT .....loved that car.

I started work at GM as a Car Designer in 1990, so it wasn't long before I had a Company Holden in the drive and a deposit on a house....Alfas were gone for now.
My Father had bought a wrecked '71 Spider in 1974.....and as a restoration project it had blown out to over a decade.

On my 30th...my dad took me out to the shed and said ...." this is yours, finish it, happy birthday"
I was almost in tears.....but that 1971 1750 Spider was finished...I jioned the Alfa club and attended a few concourse events.

I used it at my wedding, and left with the top down and wife beside me.....it's now 42 years old and needs a bit of love.
Its been at my sisters in storage for 8 years as my other passion {Ducatis} took over, but last week I went and got it and the passion has been rekindled after one drive....

Its had a colourful life Paul...:-)
65000 orig miles....still has original floor rubbers, boot and seat upholstery...all needs replacing though

Well, it got ran now and again....but rarely:-)
But this month, all suspension bushes done, new carby mounts, new GTA rep 15" wheels and tires ....transformed it

The GTA wheels look great, I'm considering the same for my Spider. From AH I assume?

Yep....15X7 alloys allow better rubber. Transforms grip. had all suspension bushes done as well
