Hi all,
Well after 6 weeks at Mechanic finally should be picking up the Girl tomorrow. So what went in for a leak on exhaust we finished up doing.
Brand new starter motor
Rear main seal
Engine mount
new fuel lines
2 Tail shaft couplings ( front & middle)
new exhaust
oil filter & oil change
new spark pugs & leads
Tune of carbies... (although found a leak on 1 Diaphragm needs fixing)
new brackets for exhaust
tail shaft bearing

Now next job, fitting new stalk for headlights indicator etc, new High beam lenses.. and some help please .. to alleviate future problems a good friend has suggested putting in relays for headlights as to take away heat etc from new stalk. Is this an easy achievement ? Has many done before?

Cheers all in advance Drew

Drew, rest assured that the pain in your back pocket will be gone by the time you get home. It will be a totally different car. And yes its an Alfa before anyone  else says.

Hi All,
yes tomorrow I pick her up after work.
Storm , the mechanic I used father is old school and tuned each one individually, I am thinking of buying a service kit for them both from UK. one of them has a leak from Diapghram.
have spent close to $2500 over last 6 weeks

I'm having trouble with my carbaretors at the moment, I'm not to sure what to do. To get them rebuild isn't cheap and I'm not sure on how much it cost to tune them these days.
I'm going EFI soon anyway.
