Hi. I'm muckin abart with a 1976 Alfetta Gt and I have a small range of bumpers to chose from, ie 2, both SSteel, one is about 130mm vertical height the other about 100mm. Which one is the correct one? The rear bumper that I just put on is the deeper sect but I don't know if that is correct. Are sedan and Gt the same?
Thanks

My guess that the coupe bumper would be different to the sedan bumper. I don't know which one would be the right one but I would put up some photos for everyone to see and you might get your answer from someone who has either one of those Alfa's.

"Nafe" has a nice looking Gt and the bumpers appear to be one of each, so I'll stop being pedantic about it.

My '76 alfetta gt coupe has its original factory fitted stainless steel bumpers. The front is the thinner and the thicker more rounded at the rear. Hope that helps.

Look after those bumpers, they are very scarce these days. 8)

And the coupe bumpers are considerably different to both series sedan bumpers.  GT bumpers are smooth, GTV added rubber over-riders.

My mates got a spare gtv one.
Just cleaned up the front and rear ones on his one today.
Came up fantasticaly pretty after a clean and some steelo polish.
Removed the black strip from the middle (was pretty tatty) as well as overirders, one had all but fallen off and the other wasn't far behind.
Question, are they necessary for rego?

Looks loads better without, polished up looks extremly sexy.

As to your question, thin ones up front, chunkier ones at back, as Paul said,
And if you need one my mate could probably be convinced to sell his spare.

Thanks for the replies good folk.

Overriders shouldn't be needed for rego, but you can never tell these days.

I rego'd my white GT in NSW and SA with no bumpers at all.
