2013 ECC at QR Race 1 & 2

Here is a video of the East Coast Challenge first race at Queensland Raceway. Andrew Wilson and Bill Magoffin on the front row. Regrettably Bill misses a gear at the start of race 1..

In my quest to get this footage posted so you southern lads could see the action, I rushed the editing so it came out a bit crappy. This is the replacement version that should view a bit better. Regrettably you will have to live with the camera shake.

To his credit Bill makes up for it in subsequent races with some blinding runs. Check out his Natsoft times. Only sorry I couldn't be there in Sunday.

One of the best weekends of raceing with your mates.
Friday + Saturday nights dinners with the raceing gang was great also.
Had to get used to the radios supplied.
Getting used to a new track got better as more laps were done.
The weather got hot,and so did some of the cars.Beach weather for Sydney + Victoria.
Starting rear of grid was fun for a rolling start,untill the radio says,Car 75,car 75,Alfa 75,,pit lane drive throu for passing car 88 before the start finish. 2 funny.Rejoined the race,Stayed Offline for the faster guys to come through,then played silly buggers with some slower cars.
Sunday,,up at 6am.race one 9am,race 2 ,11am,packed up.on the road at 11.55am.Towed 1000 kms home and car n trailer at workshop,with head on pillow at home at 11.45 pm.5kph under the posted speed limit all the way.
Such an enjoyable weekend.Wish I could do it again every second weekend with the Veloce boys.
