What are the widest rims I can fit on the back of my 1983 Alfetta GTV,

I am thinking of changing the wheels.

8.75" x 15"/16" as long as the lips have been rolled & wheels with the correct offset

You can get 17's in there too - I run 225/45R17 rubber on 17x8 OZ racing wheels with 35 offset. Close but good fit - needed some "work" on the front guard and has slight scrubbing at full lock. That's about as big as you will get on these cars without extensive work.
