Yes the kiosk will be open.

Pretty good B&E rolls and coffee.

Wonderful event to cap off a very successful year of sprinting by all club members.  Several new faces as usual which is great to see.

The weather was very kind to us, but during the drive up it was a bit damp but once over the divide, dry as a bone, sun started to shine and day warmed nicely.  Track was dry and off track was hard as a rock and solid.  Day got cracking well before 7am as the crew are now well entrenched in the routine which has been drilled over and over again over time.  Well done crew.  All signed in, scrutineering was effortless, track set up took minutes.  All done by 8am with even some time to relax with an E&B roll and a coffee served up at the nice kiosk.  While chatting away with an even increasing breakfast and coffee crowd, looked at clock, 8:30am, time to get cracking, track time to start.  Got on the PA and drivers' briefing was happening.  Everyone was eager, track condition was fantastic, Bruno and I were bitching with no car to drive.  Adrian Huntley was wanting to see if he can get back into driving, I said NO.  Alan Holpla and Noel Goltz were attentive to their roles.  David Floyd and John Floyd were in dummy grid, ready to send cars out.  Phil Chapman finished the last of scrutineering picking up a couple of minor adjustments.  Check in all done and packed up by Helen Hodge.  Phil Aarons finished handing out numbers and now settling into his driver's seat to try and beat his crazy mad sons, all three long haired head bangers.  Stuart Thomson ready in his 105 newly carburettored TS for a drive after a long time as CoC, sharing drive with his trusted mechanic Gianocarlo Ingrisiano.  Mark Patane showing off a fresh painted super lightened 105 TS.  Damian Abrahams bringing his beautiful 105 spider TS.  Angelo Verga out from a long time of hibernation in his Alfetta GTV race car.  Rob Burns out of hiding and back into his Group N 105 sounding the business.  Many many usual 105, Alfetta 4's and 6's.  Probably one of the bigger gatherings of Alfa's.  A small gaggle of MX5's piloted by my usual mates.  Len Cattlin in his BRM powered Ford  Escort.  Sally Ann Hain in her most powerful M3 CSL.  A great collection of cars running around a fascinating tight short race track.

Some quick driving following a safe practice session with only a minor hiccup at the start with one car.  Throughout the day, saw some sideway movements with a few usual spins and even a couple double spins by one or two particular MX5's and 105.  Drivers consistently clipping too close to the delicate corner ripple strips, throwing up dirt and damaging the track were spoken to sternly.  Spectating from up the back end of the track on the hill was spectacular, seeing the cars go through the three wriggly turns and in fact, you can see the whole of the track.
