Alfasud 1200 engine from the 1st year of production 1972

Came with a recently purchased series 1 sud and is surplus to requirements as my car had a 1300 as standard. Comes with original single throat carb and alloy oil cap. Engine turms freely and im open to sensible offers (dont want the bank but am not giving it away).

Im not sure how this engine got here as Suds didnt arrive until late 74. It doesnt have its original cam covers as someone obviously preffered the alloy ones but im happy to swap for the early type if buyer prefers.
