FOR SALE – 1983 ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA RACE CAR – Price reduced from $28,000 to $23,000

Victorian AROCA club championship winning car 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006. Qld AROCA Championship winning car 2012. Without a doubt one of the fastest 2 litre Alfas in Australia. Lap times: Lakeside 61.4; Phillip Island 1:52; Winton long 134.04; Winton short 1:04.99. With a decent driver onboard this car is capable of a sub-60 second lap at Lakeside.

This Giulietta has had more than $100k lavished on it during its life, with more than $40k spent in the past few years on a complete engine rebuild, transaxle rebuild, new shocks, radiator, oil cooler, wheels, adjustable rear sway bar and the list goes on.

The engine features a top spec PACE Engineering head (brand new in April 2014), forged pistons, Carrillo rods, lightened flywheel and custom fuel injection controlled by a recently updated Autronic ECU. Cooling is via custom PWR radiator and oil cooler with an electronically controlled water pump. The transaxle has a lightened, close ratio gear set and a 4.3 final drive. The clutch is a Powertrain Technologies 5 ¼ inch race clutch and the tail shaft is a Beninca's custom unit featuring universal joints rather than rubber donuts. Exhaust is a ceramic coated custom job by Fat Pipes.

Chassis features space frame front end, coil-overs at the front with MCA fully adjustable shocks front & rear (custom made for this car by Murray Coote). All joints use the best available quality rod ends, the rear sway bar is adjustable (RS Racing), the watts link is fully adjustable & the De Dion frame is bent for negative camber. Brakes are big 4 spot Mazda alloy calipers on the front and spaced Alfa calipers on the rear to accommodate vented rear rotors. Ferodo DS3000 pads all round.

Other features: full cage, 60 litre fuel cell, brand new Team Dynamics wheels, Hankook twin groove semi slicks, Schroth Harness, Cobra seat, effective front splitter and rear wing, Shorai 1.8kg lithium race battery, total weight of 850kg.

Current CAMS log book (3D Sports Sedan).
