Here's a questions from a newbie who hasn't owned an Alfa for a decade, but formerly a happy Alfetta and 33 driver.

In my day, we still put normal leaded fuel in the tank of '60s, '70s and '80s cars.

What's the go now.Are people converting their Alfas to unleaded? How do they run. What's common these days?

Inerested to know and sorry about sounding a bit dumb ... it's been Toyota Station Wagons and baby seats for a long time!

cheers

No need to "convert" - just fill them up with PULP 95 or 98 and off you go!!

I'm sure you can buy an upper valve additive to put in your fuel tank every time you fill so the valves don't burn out.I put premium unleaded in my 105 seems to do the trick

don't worry about additives, all alfa motors have high grade valve seats, so anything over 95 oct will be fine, If you get any Knocking on 95 either redtard the dissy or use 98 oct.
