Club permit date or year?

Hi all, could i ask if my alfa 75 is eligible for a club permit. Year make is May 1989? Does the month apply as well or just year? If its just by the year then I am eligible? Any advice much helpful as my full registration has just expired, thank you

25 years from the date of manufacture so you'll need to wait untill May

That's the rule in Victoria, I'm not sure about other states.

A quick google says 30 in QLD, quite restrictive though.

Guessing OP is in Vic, but would be worth checking.

If you are in vic, its 25 years from build date yes, if it says may, you have to wait till june before it is eligible.  I have the same issue as well.

Ok, I know that in some instances Club Plates have been issued to the applicant a bit earlier. say a month or two earlier but that was due to re-registration or something for simplicity for Vic Roads processing.

However, I undersand that is is getting a lot harder to register a car on club plates or otherwise if the rego has lapsed.  Remember that a RWC is required.
