Front Brake Caliper sensor wiring

Hi Guys,
when updating my wheels from 16" to 17" alloys, noticed this on the calipers of my Giulietta.
Has anyone encountered this - the protective cover for the wiring is a 'bit short' in covering the wiring all the way. I've attached pics of both sides, as they were similar.
