hi every one,

Have you ever wonder why the abs light keeps coming on Alfas, and theres never anything wrong with your brakes! Well today I know why, when the light appears on any alfa fitted with  the Bosch 5.3 abs module and it reads a code of a kind of problem with the abs, it has always just been the faulty module alfa fitted to all models of romeos from 147, spiders and 156s. the module randamly chooses any error code it has programmed in its memory whem abs module fails, because it hasnt any code for this problem which is the reason 9 out of every 10 times the light appears. It will lead you on a bumsteer trying to solve the abs light.

To fix the abs for good you have two options, buy a new secondhand module for $400, thats if you can find a matching pump/abs module or send it to a company in Sydney called Specialty Automotives Electricals , where they will fix and improve the module better than factory specs, so it can never fail again, they provide warranty and at only $200 its a good choice.

this module is fitted to alot of european cars apparently like , BMWs , MERCS, SAAB, and audis and all have the same problem, so dont just put up with the abs light staying on because the mehcanic cant fix it, send it away for fixing at a great price.
