Hi All,

I am having some difficulty with my Brake Master Cylinder wires.

Some of them have come off and I am trying to figure out where a few of them go.

In the pic I have on orange one (far left and assuming positive) which then jumps across to the right side of the reservoir.  I then also have a long black cable ( the one I am holding and assuming neutral) that was just dangling. Does this connect to the 2nd most left terminal and then jumps across to the other terminal on the right?

What do these cables effect? Is it only the dash lights or does it effect other parts of the car?

Thanks All

Hi Joe

Those wires are just for the low brake fluid level light. Each sender should have an orange light and a black light (earth). The two orange wires will be joined at some point and most likely the two black will also join before earthing. If you touch the orange and black wires together with the ignition on your warning light should light.

Good luck!

Awesome thanks Julian.

I managed to get them connected with some connectors.  Can someone confirm if this looks right.

Thanks

Yes, all looks good. You should also test that it works properly by touching the orange and black wires together with your ignition on. It won't test the switch but at least it will confirm the wiring, light and possibly relay is working.
