147 gear selector linkage bush

And back again, during the major service I also decided to finally change the gear stick housing. I believe it's a common failing as every 147 I test drove when I was shopping around felt like you were stirring a ladle in a cauldron, as the nylon bush at the fulcrum of the gear stick decintegrates over time.  Anyhow, I now know how the linkage cables attach themselves to the ball joints at each end only I was a little ham fisted in removing one and snap the holding lug for the joint bush. Luckily, its the linkage with the securing lock. It's holding onto the selector lever however, for it to be the only bush to have a securing lug can only mean it is more likely to let go.

Was hoping that someone may still have an old cable theyve swapped out and could salvage the bush for me? Or, apart from a full cable set, any ingenious ideas or alternatives in keeping this link secure?
