My fuel pump died recently and I managed to pick up one off ebay for $80 +$15 postage. It arrived today (coming from Melbourne) and I have it installed and working well.

It is genuine Bosch, the correct part number and even comes with replacement terminal boots (which was good because mine were bady torn).

Anyway, I have no connection with the seller, just thought others may be interested if in need of a fuel pump. All other quotes I got were about $150 - $400 for genuine Bosch replacements.

It is listed as a VL Commodore because they used the same fuel pump.

Good find.
When I replaced mine after it died the call around was on... Autobarn was $550! The assholes even told me to come in ASAP because someone else 'just rang' about it and they wouldn't hold it. Car was my daily driver and I couldn't get to work so called right on opening time.
Repco was $140. Cheapest genuine in stock I found.

As ever it pays to shop around, mention "ALPHA ROMAO" and they add the $$$$, mention VL Commodore and you get a more logical price, a few years ago purchased a Alfa Romeo 33 thermostat from Repco for $2 from their clearance bin, Colin
