Got an 85 GTV6. There appears to be absolutely no rust in most of the normal spots. Apart from the driver side A pillar, sill and base of windscreen - the windscreen surround has no rust, but the rust starts there and heads downward to behind the front wheel and front corner of the drivers floor.

Anyone ever had this sort of rust repair done? If so how much did it cost? Any recommendations in Sydney or Adelaide?

The body is in excellent condition nearly everywhere else. I could bog up the rust and flip it, but it seems like I should save this GTV6 if its not too expensive.

tpalfa, what's a little rust between friends?
FWIW. Do a proper job on the rust repairs. You won't regret the time or the cost. At the end of the day, just remember, they are not making 1985 GTV6's anymore. Don't let this be one of your regrets down the track.

Having been there..... that relatively minor A-pillar rust can often be drastic.  Lots of panels intersect in the area and it would take MAJOR surgery to fix it 'properly.  Easily the worst place for an Alfetta to rust; any model.

But, save it if you can.
