Where to buy superlites (minilites) at 16x8 for alfa 105?

Hi All,

I'm just starting my alfa 105 build and have been thinking about wheels recently.

I really love the look of the Superlite 16x8 rims from Performance Wheels (http://www.performancewheels.com.au/Home/Wheels.asp?theGroup=C&Cat=Classic)

...But they just informed me that they are closing the business and have no castings left to sell me.

Anyone know of another place to get a set of these rims?

Golly, wow that's hard to believe, closing up shop ? Another iconic wheel lost !

Those superlites would have to be the most sold wheel for just about any Classic car motoring

enthusiast & they are used on just about all older Classic racing projects  !

I even have them on my motorcycle trailer

There was an agent who sold them in Moorabbin Vic someplace awhile back ?

Someone aught to buy the moulds & start casting them again,

what will happen when more are needed for a new project or a repair ?

Yeah it is sad. Closing for good at the end of the month. They didn't even have stock of other sizes.

There are still some on eBay etc. But none look to be the correct studs, size, offset.

Yes I was lucky, I ordered some 15x10's a few months ago and wondered why they hadn't shipped.
When I called I was told they had no more 15x10's and were trying to sell the business.
I thought they had a buyer though. They did have some 15x8's so I took 4.
