Also, next time you ask a question, please actually ask a question.

You've just put a question mark at the end of a statement.

"Is it necessary that some mechanics agree"....

Is that your question?

I'm confused.

Alfapride

My experience no! I have two 116 series cars which both needed donuts changing one had a balance and new donuts with centre bearing and has vibrated since despite two additional rebalances. The other car just changed donuts and super smooth. If it's not vibrating now I suggest leave it alone

Morning Alfa pride

I had my Alfetta at a local mechanic but we couldn't figure out why it would rev smoothly up until 3500 rpm then you really feel the vibrations so I'm only left with the option of getting it balanced :/ and seeing what happens the

I had the donuts replaced too, after one of the bearings shattered. It was rough for the first couple of months, which led me to consider balancing it, but I can't feel the vibration now.

Granted it's been about 12 months since the donuts and bearings had been changed.

I have been driving Alfa Romeo for around twenty years now, all the eighties di dion type, GTV, GTV6, 90, 75, still not had to balance one yet..... :o

Evan, the issue here has nothing to do with anything other than Mick is incapable of counting, at all.
