Hi,
The Giulietta now runs beautifully but the clutch needs some love. Replaced the master cylinder and have had a couple of rudimentary goes at bleeding the system using the conventional 'pump the pedal and twiddle the bleed nipple' method without much success. Any suggestions on a bleed method for this setup?

Gday Pat,

Pressure bleeding is the way to do it, as you have already been doing it seems, but instead of opening the bleed nipple at the slave cylinder, instead crack the 12mm fitting on the solid line from the master cylinder. It's the highest point in the system and most likely since you've changed the master, the air is at that end and you'll never be able to pump it down to the slave.

I reckon you'll have luck with this method, let us know how you go mate.

The only thing I would add is don't necessarily expect a perfect pedal initially. Once it is drivable just drive it and it seems to get better over the next few drives.
