Just found this little gem that Victor Lee put up on Youtube a year or so back.

Greg Quinn at AROCA Phillip Island 1989

This was a video movie by Alfa Club members depicting AROCA in 1989-1990. In this segment of the movie, the club is at Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit in December 1989. The "interviewer" is Greg Quinn. Greg passed away in October 2012 after a long illness, but this YouTube video (edited to show Greg-specific parts) shows him in his element: talking to people and his passion for cars. The video also shows Greg driving his Alfa Romeo Guilia Super.

Great post Paul - thanks.  Hell, that was 25 years ago.  What was CAMS thinking, letting a bunch of us young 'uns loose at one of the worlds greatest tracks?  Of course it all came a bit unstuck when we naively decided to run it backwards one day, which was a lot of fun but did result in one car being written off and it's driver being injured.  Lessons learnt and never forgotten.

As well as Greg, it was great to see a notable appearance by Steve Wise who also passed away 5 years ago and in the 80's was one of the key figures in AROCA (Vic) motorsport activity.  Pretty much everyone else who appears is still around and involved or connected to the club in one way or another.
