I know that there is a lot more work involved but the original seat mounts are minimal at best.  see the photo of the tiny captive nut that holds the seat, only 4 of these hold you and the seat to floor in an accident

Well, apart from the seatbelt anchor points....
It might be worth re-engineering them once you start strapping 35kg of big heavy modern electric everything seats to them...

Verry true, except, as my navigator found out resently after we dragged him out of the back of the car,  seat belts only work in pretty much one direction
