Indicator repeater lights

Hi,

Relatively new member and first post. The site is a great source of information on the journey to purchase my first Alfa.

Just wondering if anyone could advise on why some series 2 and 2 a Spiders and 105's have their side repeater/ indicator lights that are of different style for the same year models. Are they produced as variances for different countries or models?

Some are small round, some small square and others come with a rectangle orange lens.

Any theories on this?
