Hi all

Son of an acquaintance has just blown the diff out of his 147GTA, and is considering a Q2 as a replacement. Any thoughts as to the best place to source one?

Thanks

Repco, sad to hear about that, one way or another it will be a fairly costly repair.

I believe that there are 2 LSD options for the Busso V6 – Quaife (spelling?) and Q2.
They are a little different in design, both good as far as I know.

EB Spares UK
Alfaholics UK
Autolusso UK (I think)

I hope this helps.

You can purchase them from your local Alfa Romeo Dealer. Give them a call and see, as once you factor in exchange rate, shipping charges, international transaction fees and possible custom fees if the total is over AUD$1000 it may end up costing the same purchasing it locally.

Autolusso in the UK are the best people. They are supplying Quaife diffs now and are great people to deal with. They are a highly experienced Alfa workshop, as well as suppliers of new and used parts, so they know what they are talking about. I got mine from them and couldn't have been happier with the price and service.
