Tandem trailer for Hire in Melbourne Eastburbs

I have a new tandem trailer so I can take a car AND the family to club sprints etc. It just happens that the trailer is ready before my car (new gearbox to go in).

As I have seen a few topics previously where Alfisti have been looking for cheap trailer hire, I offer to those AROCA Members ONLY my trailer for hire on the following conditions and prices:

up to 3 hours: $30
1 Day: $45
2 Days: $80
3 Days: $105
After 3 days: $20 for each day

Trailer Features:
•   bed is 4400mm x 1980mm wide between wheel arches
•   manual winch
•   hydraulic brakes   
•   2100mm ramps

For really low cars I use a trolley jack to raise the front, put wooden blocks under the rear for support, chock the wheels (naturally) and make the ramp-to-bed angle as flat as needed

I would require:
1.  a valid drivers licence with up to date contact details
2.  matching current AROCA membership card details
3.  $100 refundable bond plus cash payment for the hire at pickup (Receipt can be provided)

Notes:
a)  Trailer is insured with a $200XS which is payable if trailer is returned damaged (other than the odd paint scratch being OK)
b)  Trailer has 7 pin round plug. I have a converter to 7 pin straight plug.

i looked around for ages and ended up paying $3,800 for this one after vicroads inspection & registration. i looked for 2nd hand ones too but $2200 was minimum price i found and then trailer was not exactly what i wanted and there were usually some defects ... but even these trailers often nudged $3,000. so in the end i bit the bullet and got one to suit me 100%. a bit of a pain taking up parking place but can't make omelette with no break eggs ..... so offer to AROCA  members only as hopefully a win-win where my fellow members are helped out plus trailer pays us back for some of the inconvenience it causes us. i spent over $400 last year on trailer hire and if someone had this trailer hire offer around i would have used it with pleasure.
