ps Its a very nice drive Turin to Nice.
The italians instead of following the contours of the ridges that run down to the Mediterranean they punch the road straight and parallel to the coast with  tunnels thru the ridges. Looks amazing. Can have 3 tunnels visible thru the first. Some beautiful curves too.
Can just imagine an ancient roman road and aqueduct engineer going si si!
It logically follows, if you can build a good road you can probably build a car to match and drive on it.
If you've been building roads for over 2000 years..
