Keyless entry to 2001 Alfa 156

Hello, I'm wishing to fit a keyless entry setup to my 156,

I fitted one to my 1998 spider last year but now want do the same to the 156.

In the Alfa spider and the ST162 Celica I have, I fitted the module to wiring in the drivers side door.

Can I do the same with the 156 or do I attach it to the old central looking unit where ever that is, does anyone Know ??

Read conflicting notes on forums saying it's in the wheel arch, under the Glove box, or under the rear parcel shelf.

Like some help please, was going to have Autobahn install it BUT their tech guy sounded really vague

about where to hook it up, didn't want someone unfamiliar with a 156 pulling out consoles

and disturbing wires etc.  Fitting up in the door sounds easier to me ? just don't know which wires to contact to ??
