Alfetta Gtv interior carpet question

Hi all I am thinking of replacing the original carpet in my alfetta Gtv I found All Car carpets online who seem to make front and rear carpets for the Gtv, has anyone used them in the past? There are 3 options for carpet quality that they offer
Loop Pile     
Plush Pile     
Classic Loop

I am trying to ensure I match the original as much as possible does anyone have experience in what is the correct grade to ask for? Thanks in advance

No idea what grade the original carpets were, but I'd just say get the best quality you can afford. They are the hardest working part of the interior. It'd be a pretty hard marker who criticised you for improving on the original carpet - unless you are going for a full concours-level resto!

Just check they are correct for your car. Both of my 83 GTV's had a one piece not two. While you have it out I strongly suggest investing in some new insulation as well. By now the original will be past its best.

The last one I got was from a place in Dandenong Victoria. It was two piece. I think it was a loop carpet . One thing that is worth specifying if you get the chance is a rubber insert for the heals of your feet  on the passenger side. Like the rubber panel on the drivers side under the pedals.
The replacements aren't as stiff as the originals , but easier to work with a rubber mallet. . Keep the original for measurements of cuts for seat runners etc . also remember to tuck it as far up the fire wall as possible. I found it not a hard job and very satisfying for someone like myself with very limited mechanical skills.

Paul, your leather seats look magnificent. If you don't mind me asking, when/where did you get them retrimmed, and how much did that set you back?

They are original, circa 1979. Black vinyl not leather. The only re trimming I had done was a new drivers seat base . The trimmer told me  the black vinyl is about the same as the material used on an  MGB and pretty easy to get . You would really have to look to notice any difference  ( Thanks for the kind words)

Cheers Paul. They certainly look like they have lasted well. My seats were retrimmed in black fabric (not the original beige velour) a few years back.

I have just started the process of making new door cards as mine are a bit rough. I'm now on the lookout for a reasonable match for the velour trim so I don't also have to recover the rear inside panels which are in good nick. If they were looking shabby too, I just would have gone all black.
