Cool Jesus

jimay, really feel for you mate. You really are sinking into the depths of despair with this one. I nearly had the same issue with a 3 yro 159, which I wasnt asking market value, I was asking below market just to cover the outstanding lease payout figure. I actually ended up going $1K under the payout with a buyer (just to minimise my ultimate losses). He was happy, we drew up a receipt and deposit. I only had him deposit $100, just cause I was so sure it was gone, he was picking it up at the end of the week. Next day he calls to see if I'd be OK with a vehicle inspection attending to assess the Alfa...? Well, its your car sure. Inspection done and he calls me back claiming the power steering needs replacing and a sundry list of issues with a 3yro Alfa... WTF! Buyer wants me to drop the price $4000 so he can fix these issues... WHAT THE FARK! I ceremoniously told him where to stick this idiot mechanics report and that I expect to see him with cheque in hand when he comes to collect the car... Na, can I ahve my deposit back? Oh My God, this one just took the cake of all the cars I've sold. Anyhow, he didn't get his deposit and this so enraged me that I ended up getting $3K more than what he was getting it for, dick head.

I guesss what I'm saying here is chin up mate, don't give up. The right buyer is out there, its just a matter of when they are ready  8)
