FS: 1988 Alfasud Sprint Track Car

Its has regrettably come time for my faithful Alfasud Sprint to go up for sale. I have had many great times with it but it is now time to pass it onto another member for them to experience what this car has to offer. Built and restored by Fast Eddie and has since gone through  2 other alfa member owners who have added and tweaked from the original. Car is capable of 1:51 at Winton Long, 2:06 at Phillip Island, and 1:38 at Sandown.

The good
- Vehicle interior stripped and lightened
- 6 L baffled sump
- adjustable rev limiter
- shift light
- purpose built extractors into side exhaust
- larger 1.7 carbed engine vs the standard 1.5
- external oil cooler
- Lightened flywheel
- battery relocation to rear for better weight distribution
- Bucket seat with harness
- full roll cage which was approved by CAMS when first put in
- Koni yellow shocks
- Rear brake pressure bias
- Body is straight with no surface rust
- 1 full set of lightweight rims with track tyres (worn)
- 1 full set of spare standard wheels with road tyres of various wear
- full records and receipts of vehicle build from 3 owners

The bad
- Suspected blown diff/gearbox

Unfortunately on its last outing the vehicle lost drive to the wheels by what we think is the teeth damaged in the diff. Don't have the time or the resources to repair which is why it is now up for sale. Engine and rest of the car is still strong. Just hoping to pass on a car which taught me so much about how to drive on the track from when I was 16 to now.
