ECU placement in GTV TS?

Just wondering where other people have put their ECU's? In the past I have run mine in the same position as on a 75 - under the carpet in the passenger footwell with a protective layer between. Only problem is the carpet doesn't sit flat.

I don't want it visible (no parcel shelf).

What about under the passenger seat, providing the wiring harness reaches?
Or in the glovebox? Or behind the radio?

What about in the GTV6 location?

Under passenger seat would be great but no way the harness will reach. Behind the radio would be too tight unless you didn't run a radio, which I do. In the glovebox is an idea. I like having the glovebox for storage but could give it up.

Is that in the drivers footwell? Wouldn't reach over there but maybe on the passenger side. I was thinking of installing the speakers (woofers) in custom pods which probably wouldn't leave room.

The obvious choice would be to cut the carpet to make it fit neatly but for some reason I am loath to do that.

Yes it is at the bottom of the drivers side a pillar just above the sill

Bolted under the glovebox works well. The harness reaches and if you paint the ecu satin black, it is barely noticeable. You can retain the parcel shelf too.
