I am posting this on behalf of the owner. This car deserves a good home and a full restoration.

Owner purchased the car in 1999, no history but it may well be a Canberra car by evidence of negligible rust.

Body: Never had a major hit, boot has had a nudge and has a small repairable kink, rear guards have the usual (small) kinks, rest of body quite straight with very little rust. There is paint and filler peeling off in various places showing surface rust but minimal rust repairs would be necessary – so no major tin work required. Sills and floors are good apart from a few small patches in the floors. The sill/front guard joint lines have been bogged over, but lower front guards seem OK...!? There is evidence the car has had a colour change from white to red (the engine came out for this).

The car has a 2.0 engine: was repaired recently but owner is not sure what this entailed (it is supposed to be a runner). Car was serviced by local Alfa specialist Moro Motors.

Everything is there and not messed with. The car has not been modified apart from the engine upgrade. All bright work is present and straight.

Interior requires full retrim. One odd thing is that the roof lining has been replaced and does not have the rear recess.

Steering box has play and is clunky (but I know someone who is very good with a reconditioning these.... .

If you are after a 1750 GTV for a full restoration, then this car is the perfect car.

Owner is asking $8000, which IMO I believe is not an unreasonable price.

Car is in Canberra. Contact Patrick: 0431098140
