Giulietta Outside temp

Hi,

This is my first Alfa ever and it's been one of the best thing I've owned.
It was sunny over the weekend after weeks of rain so I decided to do a full wash yesterday.
However, at night time for some reason when I switch on the rear defogger, my outside temperature showing negative; the symptom would disappear after 10 mins drive and rear defogger off.
It is still under warranty, however my dealer is f*** and just wanting to know what's going on before bringing it there
