Hi Guys,
I forgot to mention that the hawk Black HP Plus pads were much better than the EBC Yellows and I got down to 1:31.22 around Mallala but I still managed to cook the Hawks!. After exiting the track and driving slowly back to my trailer I got out and measured the disc temp at 350 C so now I have ordered some Hawk Blacks in HT 10 compound, 300 to 1300 degree temp range.

Andrew,
it will be interesting to know how much disc wear you get from the Hawk Black HT10.  They are known to gouge or groove out discs.
